Guide for agencies

How to choose a white label partner, without the regret.

Eight questions to ask before you hand over a client, for agencies in the UK and Australia. Written by Kellie Lee Stewart, Founder of Jellie Digital.

Choose a white label partner on four things: your client owns the accounts, the terms are in writing, you deal with a senior person, and the partner can show live results. Price matters less than these. In our October 2026 check, UK white label Google Ads ran from about £160 to £450 a month and Australian from about A$300 to A$700.

Why the cheapest partner usually costs more

The low end of the market is cheap because something is missing: no weekly search-term checks, no tracking set-up, or one person juggling dozens of accounts. You find out when your client asks why their leads dried up.

A fair test is to compare what happens every week, not what the proposal promises. Ask how often search terms are checked, who writes the ads, and what the monthly report actually shows.

Red flags

  • Ad accounts opened in the partner’s name, so your client can’t leave with their history.
  • Ad spend paid through the partner, with a margin on top.
  • Long lock-ins with no exit after the first term.
  • No live results, or only industry averages.
  • A junior account manager as your only contact.

Start with one client

Before you move your book across, test the partner on one client. Ask for a sample audit of a live account in your branding, then run one client for the minimum term. If the reporting and results hold up, move the next one.

FAQ

Choosing a partner

What is a white label digital marketing partner?

A company that delivers services such as Google Ads, SEO or websites for your clients, under your agency's brand. You keep the client relationship and set the price.

How much does white label Google Ads cost?

In our October 2026 check of published UK prices, white label Google Ads management ran from about £160 to £450 a month, and in Australia from about A$300 to A$700. Our wholesale price is £325 or A$650, with no setup fee.

What are the red flags?

Accounts opened in the partner's name, ad spend paid through the partner, long lock-ins, no live results, and a junior account manager as your only contact.

Should I try a partner on one client first?

Yes. Ask for a sample audit or start with one client for the minimum term before moving more accounts across.

Can a partner poach my clients?

A good agreement includes a non-solicit both ways. We never contact your clients unless you ask us to.
